Daniel Andrew was born and bred in Westhill. He studied Computer Networking and Management at Robert Gordon University, graduating in 2017, and currently works as Director of Infrastructure at a satellite communications company.
Daniel met his wife Sarah at City Church, they married in 2015 and started attending Hillview shortly after. They have two daughters, Abigail and Rachel, and enjoy spending time together as a family, which generally involves getting out for walks followed by a hitting a cafe! In his spare time, Daniel enjoys playing guitar, tending to the family tortoise, flying drones, and has a passion for well-organised admin and spreadsheets!
Daniel has been a Christian from an early age and has had the privilege of experiencing different church denominations throughout his childhood, seeing how God remains constant across traditions. He was baptised at a Hillview Community Church weekend away. Daniel first attended the church during his student years when it was International Baptist Church and has served in various ways over the years, including AV, children’s ministry, and constitutional support. Sarah works as Guidance teacher in a secondary school, has faithfully served in children’s ministry for over 20 years, currently helps in the crèche and has a passion for unchurched kids in school. Together, they seek to support one another and involve their children in the life of the church.
Daniel is passionate about serving the church family and seeing it grow as a place where people can encounter God, be encouraged and built up in faith.
