Bible Studies

Hillview Ladies meet regularly during term time for study, prayer and fellowship and there are current two studies happening.

All the ladies are invited to a bible study that will use a resource called “Abide” by Jen Wilkin. This study will look at the books of 1,2 and 3 John.

“How can we hold onto assurance of our faith? How can we discern the truth from a lie? How can we know God loves us? In this 10-session study of 1, 2, and 3 John, Jen Wilkin will help you discover how 2,000 years later, the apostle John’s words call to Christians in similar challenges to recall a great salvation and to abide in the truth. He reminds an early church facing division, deception, and doubt to hold fast to what they know and to live like they believe it. And he reminds us as well.”

This will commence on the 11th of September and then be the first Thursday of the month. Come along at 715pm for tea/coffee in the lounge at Hillview. The study will then start promptly at 730pm. The study comes with a video series which lasts approximately 45 minutes and then there will be discussion for 45 minutes.

On the first and third Wednesday of the month the ladies are invited to a time of praying for one another. This takes place on zoom so you don’t need to travel but can do this in the comfort of your own home. It runs from 8pm to 915pm is a simple time of sharing praises and needs in one another’s lives and coming before our Heavenly Father in prayer.
