20 Schemes

Home / What We Do / Worldwide / 20 Schemes

20 Schemes works within areas of deprivation in Scotland with the aim of seeing social housing schemes transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. They are working to recruit, train, support and send church planters, outreach workers, ministry apprentices and short-term interns to work as part of church planting teams within Scotland’s housing schemes.

20 Scheme’s long-term desire is to see Scotland’s housing schemes transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ through the revitalisation and planting of gospel-preaching churches, ultimately led by a future generation of indigenous church leaders. To that end they plan to initiate a church planting and revitalisation effort by recruiting, training, supporting and sending church planters, female outreach workers, ministry apprentices, and short-term interns to work part of church planting teams within Scotland’s housing schemes. 20 Scheme’s believes that building healthy, gospel-preaching churches in Scotland’s poorest communities will bring true, sustainable, and long-term renewal to Scotland’s schemes.

We specifically support the 20schemes church plant in Barlanark, Glasgow. You can find out more about Hope Community Church Barlanark on their website  and 20schemes on their website.
