Sunday Services
Children are important to us at Hillview Community Church as we seek to follow Jesus example and lead people of all ages to him. As part of God’s family here in Cults and Bieldside we love the energy and life that children bring to our congregation as they have fun, worship and grow in faith together with their families.
We strive to be a church that welcomes children and promotes their welfare, learning and development. To that end children find their place and participation welcomed in our regular times of worship.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church classes comprise of:
Climbers (4 yrs-P1)
Trekkers (P2-4)
Xplorers (P5&7).
For international families P2=1st grade, P3=2nds etc. The Children’s Church ministry seeks to communicate the truth of God’s Word whilst focussing on the specific learning styles and needs of children, for part of our gathered times together each Sunday.
Creché
For pre-school children our Creche seeks to enable parents to leave their little ones to be cared for and taught basic truths in a comfortable and secure environment.
As a church we take our duty to care for children very seriously – our Child Protection Policies and Procedures require that all our volunteers are carefully vetted and disclosure checked.
